The original food in our Gamma range – first launched in 1976 – and the highest quality.

This background in aquaculture and feed manufacture, together with our expertise in feeding the many fish, corals and other invertebrates we import each year, led us to develop our own range of foods, starting with Gamma Frozen Foods, then Gamma Dry Seaweed both of which are market leaders.

Knowing that our livestock and fish houses, as well as home aquarists, could benefit from the convenience of a full range of frozen, liquid and dry feeds, we carried out a great deal of research and development to come up with a new, improved range of liquid feeds plus a whole new dry feeds concept, all set out in this brochure.

Whilst in TMC’s fish holding facilities all livestock is fed only on Gamma Foods and every day we feed over 250,000 fish and inverts across our fish houses!

Our Frozen Foods are flash frozen at capture for freshness and are then gamma irradiated to guarantee that no pathogens are passed onto your livestock.

The Gamma Dry Range Just Had a Makeover

New pellet sizes, new products, a full new Freshwater range — all in a refreshed look. But the biggest change is one you won’t see on the label: every Gamma Dry food is cold-extruded rather than cooked, giving you frozen-level nutrition and palatability without ever needing a freezer.

Gamma Marine and Gamma Freshwater dry ranges now cater for every size of fish and invertebrate, with new pellet sizes from the nano 0.8mm diameter right up to the larger Shots, which stick to rockwork or the glass so you can watch your fish graze up close. Discover the new Marine Complete and Freshwater Complete Flakes too — already hugely popular in our own fish house. We feed all our corals and fish on Gamma food: our formulations cover every nutritional need our animals have, and give yours the best possible start in your home aquarium.

 

Why Gamma Feeds Differently

Most dry foods are steam-cooked above 100°C. Gamma is formed by pressure and shear at 60°C or below — shaped, not cooked — so heat-sensitive vitamins, enzymes and pro-biotic yeasts stay largely intact. Every ingredient is pre-digested before processing for easier absorption: better uptake, less waste, and visibly cleaner water in the tank.

The result is a soft, semi-moist texture that sticks, sinks and holds together in water — a big part of why Gamma converts even fussy eaters and newly imported fish so readily — built entirely from natural marine ingredients on a label you can actually read, and stored happily on the shelf with no freezer and no defrosting required.

    • Suitable for every day feeding offish, corals and invertebrates.

Feeding: Feed a small amount 1-2 times daily only what iseaten within 2 minutes. Remove uneaten food. Crush smaller for fry and juvenilefish.

Storage and handling: Refrigeration is not required, store away fromdirect sunlight. Ensure tub is re-sealed completely after every use. To avoidcontamination, ensure hands are dry before touching the product and wash handsafter use.
