Biological reduction of nitrate in your aquarium replacement for nyos zero.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Nyos® NITRATE MINUS promotes the growth of nitrate reducing bacteria. This allows nitrate to be reduced biologically to the detection limit. Phosphate is also reduced to a small extent by skimming off bacterial films.

• Biological reduction of nitrate (and a small amount of phosphate)
• Dual formula with short- and long-term components
• Can be used permanently or temporarily
• Does not contain toxic methanol

Instructions

• Standard dosage: 10ml/1,000 liters (10ml / 250 gal) daily.
• If nitrate is below target value: Dose 5ml/1,000 liters (5ml / 250 gal) daily or stop treatment
• If nitrate is far above target value or is falling too slowly: double the dose to 20ml/1,000 liters (20ml / 250 gal) daily
• We recommend a nitrate value of 5-15mg/l (ppm)
• If possible, dose daily using a dosing pump
• Monitor the nitrate level weekly with the Nyos® NITRATE Test Kit and adjust the dosage as described above if necessary
